Drug smugglers jailed for 22 years

At Southwark Crown Court in London one woman and two men were sent to prison for a total of 22 years for conspiracy to supply a Class A drug after a drugs bust at Coventry airport.
Three kilos of cocaine were discovered by customs officers at Coventry International Postal Depot, based at the airport. Cocaine with a street value of £250,000 was found wrapped in a baby blanket.
The package from Panama was found to contain a blue baby blanket concealing six clear plastic bags, each filled with 75 percent pure cocaine. All three defendants were Colombians living in London. They all admitted both charges.
