Potential buyer found
27.09.09
Coventry Airport has found an interested buyer. The airport lost its only passenger airline in 2008 and also saw plans for a new terminal rejected in February. It has since been operating as a cargo terminal and a base for executive jets and aviation-related businesses, and was put up for sale in May.
Airport director Brian Cox said yesterday that a sale was possible but he could not divulge the identity of the potential buyer. He added: ‘As soon as we can say something we will.’
