Airport to 'get tough' on troublemakers
24.10.06
Police are launching a 'zero tolerance' crackdown on troublemakers who disrupt flights at Coventry Airport. They have joined forces with the airport to tackle drunkenness, fighting and antisocial behaviour on all airlines flying to and from the airport.
Troublemakers in the airport terminal are being warned they will be arrested and hauled before the courts. A Warwickshire Police spokesman said passengers would be arrested if they were drunk or threatened or attacked fellow passengers, airport staff or flight crews.
