Wizz launch Gdansk flights

Coventry Airport welcomed its first Wizz Air flight from Gdansk today, as the Eastern European airline commenced a new 3 times weekly service on the route using an 180 seat Airbus A320 plane.
Chris Orphanou, Chief Executive Officer of Coventry Airport, said ‘We are delighted that Wizz Air is adding to its existing service to Katowice with the introduction of flights to the important Polish commercial centre of Gdansk. The West Midlands has strong historical links with Poland. These flights are great news for the Polish community, business and leisure travellers.’
