Airport launch 'Take off' magazine

Coventry Airport has launched a magazine called ‘Take Off’. The new magazine is 'packed with articles of interest for passengers, potential customers and the local community'.
A twice yearly publication, the June edition spotlights Corfu - one of four new destinations from Coventry for Summer 2009. It also reveals how the airport is reducing its impact on the local environment; and its business aviation operation as well as general interest features such as learning to fly.
Chris Orphanou, the Coventry Airport’s Chief Executive, said: ‘The airport is a key component of the Midlands region and helps to boost the profile of Coventry and Warwickshire. We wanted to promote our services and achievements to a wider audience as well as showcase new routes, and ‘Take Off’ gives us the opportunity to do just that.’
