Coventry Airport offering aircraft parking to airlines wishing to ease the strain as fuel costs soar by grounding planes, a spokesman for the hub said. Many airlines are reviewing their routes and choosing to ground aircraft this winter in order to save on high fuel costs rather than continue flying with a full fleet, including those of the size of Ryanair.
Tom Freeman, Head of Business Development at the hub said: ‘Coventry Airport has ample space to accommodate multiple aircraft parking and is currently offering very competitive rates. We can handle most types of jet up to Airbus A320/ Boeing 737 size.’
